Preston School

Alumasc provided a full package of support for the refurbishment of Preston School's Roof in Somerset. The works where carried out in three seperate phases, phase one and two during the school holidays of 2012, 2013 and the final phase in 2014. It was important that the installation process was carried out over these periods to help minimise disruption to pupils. Alumasc's technical team conducted condition surveys on the roof and then provided a schedule of work enabling Preston School to successfully apply for funding through the Academies Capital Maintenance Fund (ACMF). Almost 4000m² of Euroroof high performance bituminous membranes was applied, Euroroof Mono was used on the main roof area with Euroroof Mastergold being utilised in and around the roof's detailing.
