Whitstone Academy

Alumasc’s Euroroof Mono flat roof membrane has been used for an urgent roof replacement at Whitstone School in Shepton Mallet. The Euroroof system offered the speed and ease of installation required to ensure the roof could be replaced quickly and efficiently during the middle of term. The school educates around 600 students aged 11-16 and gained Academy status in 2011. In order for government academy funding to be secured for the renovations, it was imperative that works were carried out to strict timescales between January and March 2013. 2,800m² of the Euroroof Mono single layer system was installed and offers all the benefits of a high performance bituminous membrane combined with quick and safe, flame-free methods of installation.
