New Providence Wharf, a mixed use urban village featuring apartments, offices, retail and leisure space and, a 27 storey hotel and apartment building designed towards the urban regeneration of this area in London. Located on a bend of the River Thames, opposite the Millennium Dome, the project included Alumasc's Green Roof System. Four oasis pools were created as a habitat for local nesting birds. Hydrotech Structural Waterproofing was also utilised to provide a fully bonded reinforced seamless coating for podiums, balconies, water features, canal areas. Hydrotech is fast and easy to apply, which needs no fall and has a lifetime expectation equal to that of the building. The Derbigum system was also specified to complete a section of the development where an epoxy bonded gravel paving was to be installed over the waterproofing.
