A green roof from Alumasc has been used for a stunning garden designed by celebrity gardener Diarmuid Gavin on a new Belfast development. The Ormeau Bakery showcases how Alumasc’s green roofs can create virtually any type of garden landscape or roof gardens, using a deep substrate to support a variety of tree, shrub and grass species. The intensive system offers the benefits of a small urban park, providing a rich habitat for wildlife as well as recreational access for residents and visitors. Alumasc’s Hydrotech MM6125 was chosen for the waterproofing element, offering the ideal solution for inverted green roofs and hard landscaped podium structures in new build applications.
